Minobu Town, Minamikoma District, located in southern Yamanashi Prefecture. Its main industry is agriculture, and farming methods using Aigamo ducks are still practiced today. The town is also famous for its handmade Japanese paper, Nishijima Washi, which boasts a 400-year tradition and is loved by many calligraphers. Minobu Yuba, which has a 700-year tradition, is also known as a local delicacy.
