Tachikawa Station is one of the stations served by JR East's three lines: the Chuo Line, the Ome Line, and the Nambu Line. It is located in Akebonocho 2-chome, Tachikawa City, Tokyo. This above-ground station is made up of four island platforms with eight tracks. Two of these platforms and four tracks are used by the Chuo Line, and passengers can also transfer to the Ome Line on the same platform.
