About the Kitaikebukuro Station
Kita-Ikebukuro Station, located in Ikebukuro Honmachi, Toshima Ward, is a stop on the Tobu Tojo Line. It opened in 1934. To the east of the station, the Ikebukuro Transport District's electric storage tracks run parallel to the JR Saikyo Line. Toshima Gakuin High School and Shukutoku Sugamo Junior High School are also located nearby. The station's average daily passenger traffic was 8,500 people in 2012.
