Bunkyo Ward in Tokyo is a city with more residential areas than commercial areas, and is home to many quiet residential areas. It's also an area rich in greenery, where you can see beautiful Japanese gardens such as Korakuen and Koishikawa Botanical Garden. During the Meiji period, the University of Tokyo, said to be the best university in Japan, was established and has produced many great figures and intellectuals. Because the area was also home to many writers, Bunkyo Ward is still home to many publishing and printing companies. One of the attractions is the Tokyo Dome, built in 1988 and used as the exclusive stadium for the Yomiuri Giants baseball team. There's also an amusement park next to the Tokyo Dome, making it a popular spot for both adults and children to enjoy.
