Oyama City, known as a city of good fortune, is located in Tochigi Prefecture. The red spider lilies at Mekawara no Sato Park bloom in September, marking the start of the Red Spider Lily Festival. Another annual event is the Oyama Fireworks Festival, one of the largest fireworks displays in the Kanto region, attracting many visitors from across the country, not just from Oyama City.
