About Kuki City

Kuki City is located in the eastern part of Saitama Prefecture, 50 km from Tokyo. While the area is mostly flat, there are some highlands in the central area. It is notable for having many neighboring areas, even within Saitama Prefecture. The city has excellent transportation access, centered around the Kuki Interchange. The area is also conveniently located with a train line. Lavender fields stretch out as far as the eye can see at the Lavender Bank. You can also enjoy the natural environment, including the Iris Garden at the ruins of Shobu Castle, where you can see over 5,000 irises. There are also many tourist spots scattered throughout the city where you can learn about history and culture, such as Shizuka Gozen's grave and Washinomiya Shrine.
