Misato Town in Kodama County is blessed with mountains such as Mt. Suwayama, rivers, and lakes, creating a rich natural environment. Blueberry production is also thriving, and there are tourist orchards. Famous sites include Shinto-ji Temple, Nagasaka Shotenzuka Tomb, the Mizudono Tile Kiln Ruins, a national historic site, and Sarashii, a prefecturally designated historic site. In addition to the blueberries mentioned at the beginning, prunes are also thriving, and these fruits are popular as the highlight of the orchards. A poppy festival is held from April to May, and a cosmos festival is held in October. Misato Town in Kodama County borders Honjo City, Fukaya City, Yorii Town, and Nagatoro Town, and the red pine is the town's designated tree, and the chrysanthemum is the town's designated flower.
