Most of Namekawa Town, Hiki District, is made up of the Hikikita Hills. At the edge of the southern area, the Higashimatsuyama Plateau lies. Around Tsukinowa Station, urbanization is becoming more and more prevalent, resulting in a commuter town. Housing development is also driving a population increase. Despite this urbanization, the northern area is also rich in nature. Another distinctive feature is the large number of reservoirs. Namekawa Town, Hiki District, boasts the Musashi Hills National Forest Park, Senpukuji Temple, Namekawa Eco-Museum Center, and Ninomiyayama Observation Tower. Events include the Bon Odori Festival and the Namekawa Festival.
