Yokoze Town in Chichibu District is bordered by three municipalities: Chichibu City, Hanno City, and Tokigawa Town. Public facilities include the General Welfare Center and the Historical and Folklore Museum. Tourist attractions include the Chichibu Thirty-Four Temples, Saitama Prefectural Forest, Ashigakubo Fruit Park Village, Maruyama Mineral Springs, and Buko Onsen. Events include the Ashigakubo Lion Dance and the Une Spring Festival. The town also promotes permanent residence, offering many subsidies and cash grants. Yokoze Town in Chichibu District is also home to two prefecture-designated intangible folk cultural properties: the Yokoze Puppet Theater and the Ashigakubo Lion Dance. The Buko Mountain Limestone Special Plant Community is a nationally designated natural monument.
