Toyonaka City is home to a sprawling new town and numerous large commercial facilities. While Toyonaka is primarily an urban area, it also boasts attractions rich in nature, such as Hattori Ryokuchi Park. Hattori Ryokuchi Park is the largest park in Osaka Prefecture and has been selected as one of Japan's 100 best urban parks. It features an athletics stadium, tennis courts, and an equestrian center. There is also a botanical garden filled with colorful flowers and a circular flowerbed. The park also houses the Japanese Folk House Museum, which features a replica of an old Japanese house. In the summer, a spacious outdoor pool is open, attracting many visitors. Osaka International Airport is also located here, along with parks and multi-purpose facilities.
