Torikai eggplants are a local specialty, and are rounder than typical eggplants. Shinkansen Park is a popular tourist spot, attracting many visitors, both children and adults, as visitors can view Shinkansen trains and electric steam locomotives. Cherry blossom trees line the banks, attracting many visitors during peak viewing season. Yodogawa River Park is a popular leisure spot, offering a variety of sports courts, including tennis courts, a butter golf course, and a futsal court. Barbecues are also available. The annual Settsu Festival has been held since 1976.
