Tajiri Town in Sennan District is a town where onion cultivation is thriving. Onion cultivation has been carried out since the 1870s. Water eggplant cultivation is also popular, and Tajiri's onions and water eggplants have become nationally known. The town is also home to part of Kansai International Airport, and tax revenues from Kansai Airport help stabilize the town's finances. Popular tourist spots include the Tajiri Sky Bridge, one of the largest cable-stayed bridges in Japan, and Marble Beach and Rinku Park, where the beach is covered in white marble. Both offer stunning views and are visited by many tourists. There is also a fishing port, where you can try fishing and fishing at a pond, and it is popular with families.
