Sakai-Higashi Station is a station on the Nankai Electric Railway Koya Line, located on Mikunigaoka Miyuki-dori in Sakai Ward, Sakai City, Osaka Prefecture. The station opened on January 30, 1898. According to a 2013 survey, the average number of users per day was approximately 60,500. Near the station are Sakai City Hall and Sakai Post Office. Additionally, Osaka Prefectural Route 30, the Osaka-Izumisen-Minami Line, runs nearby.
