Minoh City, Osaka Prefecture, borders Ikeda City and Hyogo Prefecture. Located in the northern part of the prefecture, residential areas are concentrated in the southern part of the city. It is also a commuter town for Osaka Prefecture. Tourist attractions in the area include Minoh Falls, selected as one of Japan's 100 best waterfalls, where you can enjoy beautiful views of the autumn foliage; the Minoh Park Insectarium, where insects gather; and Katsuo-ji Temple, with its beautiful illuminated pagoda. Many students taking entrance exams visit Katsuo-ji Temple every year. In addition, in autumn, the waterfall and the riverside are filled with beautiful autumn leaves, attracting many visitors. City events include the Minoh Festival, held in the summer and featuring a variety of events including a parade.
