Neyagawa City, located in the Kitakawachi region of Osaka Prefecture, is named after the Neyagawa River that flows through it. Neighboring municipalities include Settsu City, Takatsuki City, and Moriguchi City. Naritasan Osaka Betsuin Myooin Temple, founded in 1934, offers prayers for traffic safety for both cars and vehicles. New Year's visits are held in January, and the Setsubun Festival is held in February. Neya Shrine is home to the Stone Treasure Hall and the ruins of Takamiya Temple, both national historic sites. The Neyagawa Festival is held in August, the Genki Ikiiki Sports Festival in October, and the Eco Festa in November. Neyagawa City is also home to numerous large parks, including the National Yodogawa River Park, Uchiage River Flood Control Green Space, Prefectural Neyagawa Park, and Neyagawa Green Space. The National Yodogawa River Park offers a variety of sports activities.
