Taishi Town, Minamikawachi District, is located in the southeastern part of Osaka Prefecture, with Mount Nijo towering to the east. This mountain, shaped like a camel's hump, is the town's symbol. During the Asuka period, a road was constructed on Mount Nijo, later developing into the Takeuchi Kaido Highway. The town is home to numerous historical sites, including the Tomb of Ono no Imoko, Eifuku-ji Temple, and the Mausoleum of Empress Suiko, making it a popular tourist spot.
