At the Kaizuka City Nature Study Center, you can observe the many diverse creatures that inhabit the city. The city is also home to historical sites such as Mizuma-dera Temple and Koon-ji Temple. The Kaizuka Taikodai Festival is held every July, and the Kaizuka Danjiri Festival is held in August and October. The city is also known for its mizunasu (eggplant) cultivation, and there are also facilities where you can pick strawberries and mandarin oranges.
