Habikino City, Osaka Prefecture, borders Sakai City and Matsubara City. Located slightly southeast of the prefecture's center, it is blessed with abundant nature, including mountains like Mt. Hachibuse and Mt. Terayama, and rivers like the Ishikawa and Higashijogawa Rivers. The remains of ancient tombs from the Kofun period still remain in the city, and it became Habikino City in 1959.
