Nagi Town, Katsuta County, borders three cities and towns in Okayama Prefecture and Chizu Town in Tottori Prefecture. Most of the town is covered by forests, with the towering 1,000-meter-high Mt. Nagi and Mt. Takiyama. Agriculture is a thriving industry, with taro, yamaimo, black beans, New Pione grapes, and strawberries grown. Dairy farming is also practiced, and local specialties include black pork shogayaki and black bean edamame. Mt. Nagi is a well-known tourist attraction. This mountain is the town's symbol, attracting many hikers. At Mt. Nagi Reizan Station, various hands-on workshops are held, including handmade processing, crafts, and fish catching. Other tourist attractions include a wildflower park and a contemporary art museum.
