Kokonoe Town in Kusu County has an area of 271.41 square kilometers and is located southwest of Oita Prefecture. This suspension bridge, the tallest in Japan, stands 173 meters high and spans the Naruko River Valley, and is a dynamic 390 meters long. The waterfall that can be seen as you cross this bridge, and the maple leaves during the autumn foliage season, are truly magnificent and beautiful.
