The town is also home to the world's longest Dragon Dola, stretching 5,481 meters, and Japan's tallest ropeway, the 230-meter Tashiro Ropeway. Since 1999, the Fuji Rock Festival, held annually in July or August at Naeba Ski Resort, has become Japan's largest outdoor music event. The town also hosts the Naeba Festival and Yuzawa Onsen Snow Festival.
