About Seiryo Town
Seiro Town, Kitakanbara District, Niigata Prefecture, is located in the northern part of the prefecture, adjacent to Niigata City and Shibata City. Formerly a village, it merged with other villages in 1955 and became a town in 1977. The town's flower is the red rose, a member of the rose family. The Shibata River and Kaji River flow through the area, creating a rich natural environment. Many businesses in the area are food processing and precision machinery companies. Tourist attractions include the day-trip hot spring at Seiro Kannon Yuzabun, a beach where you can enjoy marine sports such as swimming in the summer, and farms where you can enjoy fruit picking. Educational institutions include the Japan Soccer College, a vocational school for soccer. It is also home to Albirex Niigata's training grounds.
