Isahaya City in Nagasaki Prefecture borders Nagasaki City, Omura City, and Saga Prefecture. Located in the south of the prefecture, it is surrounded by three seas. It is blessed with abundant nature, including mountains and rivers. Isahaya City is famous for its land reclamation projects, and is the largest grain-producing region in Nagasaki Prefecture. It also houses the Isahaya Core Industrial Park, where electronics and other industries thrive. Local specialties include soft-shelled turtle dishes, eel, rice crackers, and Konagai lotus root. Tourist attractions include the Cosmos Flower Space Museum, where rapeseed flowers bloom in spring and cosmos flowers bloom in autumn, and the Sazanka Highland Picnic Park, which offers stargazing, a monorail, and a sports slide.
