Ogawa Village, Kamiminochi District, Nagano Prefecture, is located in the northern part of the prefecture, adjacent to Nagano City and Omachi City. It is blessed with abundant nature, including mountains such as Mt. Sobaguruyama and the Tsuchijiri River. Approximately 69% of the area is covered in forest. The village was formed in 1955 by the merger of two other villages. Local specialties include oyaki (sweet bean buns), soba (buckwheat noodles), and apples. At Ogawa no Sho Oyaki Village, you can enjoy a variety of oyaki. Tourist attractions in the village include Alps Observation Park, which offers a panoramic view of the Northern Alps; Ogawa Village Mallet Golf Course, where you can enjoy mallet golf; and Big Land Ogawa, where you can enjoy a heated swimming pool and other sports.
