Iizuna Town, Kamiminochi District, Nagano Prefecture, is located in the northern part of the prefecture, bordering Nagano City and Nakano City. The town's tree is the cherry blossom, and its flowers are apples. It was formed in 2005 through the merger of two villages. The town is thriving in agriculture, producing fruits such as apples, peaches, pears, and grapes, as well as rice, and processed products such as jam and wine are made from these fruits. These processed products can be purchased not only in Nagano Prefecture but also at department stores nationwide. Tourist attractions include ski resorts where you can enjoy winter sports in the winter and Saint Cousair, where you can enjoy a meal while overlooking the lush greenery. The area also has many famous cherry blossom viewing spots in the spring.
