Sakaki Town, Hanishina District, Nagano Prefecture, is located in the Hokushin region. It is home to five rivers, including the Chikuma River, Hinasawa River, and Mido River. It is also home to numerous mountains, including Mt. Omine, Mt. Kagamidai, and Mt. Taro. It borders Ueda City and Chikuma City. Sakaki Town, Hanishina District, is an industrial town with many businesses, primarily small and medium-sized enterprises. Agriculture is also thriving, with rice, apples, grapes, and peaches cultivated. Nakanojo Daikon, also known as Nezumi Daikon, and Oshibori Udon are local specialties. Historic sites include the ruins of Katsurao Castle and Nakanojo Jinya.
