Tsuno Town in Koyu District is located between Miyazaki City and Nobeoka City. To the east of the town lies the Hyuga Sea, and to the west, Mount Osuzu towers. The plains are a hilly plateau. 60% of the town's total area is forest, and in the Osuzu Mountains to the west, you can see Yaken Falls, selected as one of Japan's 100 best waterfalls. The area is warm throughout the year, and although there is a lot of rain during the rainy season and typhoon season, there is no snowfall, making it a pleasant place to live. Ginkgo trees, the town's tree, are planted in groups of 200 along the roads around the station, creating a beautiful landscape as the roads change color from yellow to green depending on the season.
