Misato Town, Higashiusuki District, is a town rich in nature, located in the Kyushu Mountains. It borders Nobeoka City, Hyuga City, and Nishito City. Approximately 90% of the town is covered by forests, and the town is home to the Komaru River, Mimi River, and Isuzu River. Agriculture and forestry are thriving, with shiitake mushrooms, rice, beef cattle, and pears cultivated. Tourist attractions include Baekje Village, Ishitoge Lakeland, and Oseri Falls.
