Kisosaki Town, Kuwana County, located in the northeastern tip of Mie Prefecture. Its main industry is agriculture, and Kisosaki tomatoes are renowned nationwide for their juicy sweetness. The town is also famous for its cherry blossoms, with a 4km-long row of cherry trees forming along the banks of the Nabeta River, a first-class river, in spring. Many people gather to view the magnificent cherry blossoms, numbering over 1,500 trees, mostly Somei Yoshino. A cherry blossom festival is also held during the season, bringing activity to the banks of the Nabeta River. Nabeta River Onsen and Kisosaki Onsen are also famous hot springs, attracting many visitors. The town is also home to Suigo Prefectural Natural Park, which is bustling with families on weekends and holidays.
