The town's Taisha Festival, held at Inabe Shrine, is also famous and designated an intangible folk cultural asset of Mie Prefecture. The "Ageuma Shinto Ritual," in which young riders dressed as gorgeous warriors gallop uphill on horseback, is particularly popular. This dynamic ritual attracts many spectators and is a very lively event.
