Kasagi Town, Soraku District, Kyoto Prefecture, borders Kizugawa City and Nara Prefecture. It's blessed with abundant nature, including the Kizugawa River, Shirasagi River, and Mount Kasagi. It's also the second least populous town in Japan. The town is served by train at Kasagi Station, and buses are available, though only for local residents. Local events include the Cherry Blossom Festival on the Kizugawa Riverbank in spring, where visitors can enjoy the beautiful illuminated cherry blossoms; fireworks and floating lanterns in summer; and the Kasagi Momiji Festival, where autumn leaves are illuminated. Tourist attractions include the prefectural Kasagiyama Natural Park, where visitors can enjoy cherry blossoms in spring and autumn leaves in autumn.
