Nankan Town, Tamana District, Kumamoto Prefecture, is located in the northwestern part of the prefecture, bordering Tamana City and Fukuoka Prefecture. The town is rich in nature, with mountains like Mt. Kodai and Mt. Otsuyama and rivers like the Sekigawa River. Public roads and expressways make it easy to travel by car.
