The cherry blossoms of Makino Park, said to be the most traditional cherry blossom viewing spot in Kochi Prefecture, are also famous, and many people visit every year to view the blossoms. The Kamimachi district, where merchant houses and sake breweries remain intact, is also popular with tourists.
