Nankoku City is located in the southeastern part of Kochi Prefecture. It borders Kochi City, Kami City, and Konan City. It is home to mountains such as Sasaga Mine and Mt. Takagijiri, and the Monobe River and Kokubu River flow through the city. It is a city rich in nature. Due to its proximity to Kochi City and convenient transportation access, it has seen a surge in business expansion. Shikoku Shijishi, Oritas Technology Kochi, and Inoue Lime Industry are headquartered here. Tourist attractions include the Oko Castle Ruins, Tosa Kokubunji Temple Ruins, and the Kochi Prefectural Museum of History and Ethnology.
