Yasuda Town, Aki District, Kochi Prefecture, is located in eastern Kochi Prefecture. Known as the birthplace of greenhouse horticulture, agriculture, centered on greenhouse cultivation, is thriving here. Eggplants, bell peppers, and myoga are grown downstream of the Yasuda River, which flows through the center of the town, while in the upstream Nakayama area, efforts are focused on artificially cultivated yams. Fresh and delicious vegetables and fruits grown in the town can be purchased at two local product shops along the national highway. Yasuda Town's tourist attraction is the clear Yasuda River. A campsite has been set up along the Yasuda River for outdoor activities, where you can enjoy sweetfish fishing and firefly observation.
