Ebina City is located near the center of Kanagawa Prefecture. Its north-south shape is made up of the Sagami Plain and Sagamihara Plateau. Agriculture is thriving, with strawberries, greenhouse tomatoes, and greenhouse cucumbers cultivated. Carnations, sweet peas, and orchids are cultivated, including blue roses. The city also boasts parks, including Kanagawa Prefectural Sagami Sansen Park, Ebina Central Park, Ebina Sports Park, and Riverside Park. Tourist attractions include the Sagami Kokubunji Temple Ruins, a national historic site; the Ebina Zelkova; and Arima's Harenrei (elm), one of Kanagawa's 100 most famous trees. Festivals include the Ebina City Fire Department's New Year's Parade in January, the Haru Festival in February, and the Greening Festival in April. The city is also home to the nationally renowned Ebina Service Area.
