Matsuda Town in Ashigarakami District is one of the towns in the Ashigara region. The Sakawa River, Nakatsu River, and Kawaoto River flow through the area. It's also known as a fishing spot, thanks to the abundance of sweetfish and yamame trout. Tourist attractions include the Children's Museum, the Nature View, the Omote Tanzawa Prefectural Forest, and the Yorozu Nature Recreation Village.
