Matsuda Town in Ashigarakami District is one of the towns in the Ashigara region. The Sakawa River, Nakatsu River, and Kawaoto River flow through the area. It's also known as a fishing spot, thanks to the abundance of sweetfish and yamame trout. Mount Matsuda in Ashigarakami Matsuda Town is located on a south-facing slope, where tea and mandarin oranges are cultivated, taking advantage of the well-drained areas.
