Nanao City, Ishikawa Prefecture, is located in the center of the Noto Peninsula. It was formed in 2004 through the merger of one city and three towns. Home to Wakura Onsen, renowned for its harbor hot springs, and various resort facilities such as Nanao Marine Park, the city is blessed with many attractive tourist attractions. Its main specialties are Noto vegetables such as Nakajimana and Sawano burdock, and vibrant Nanao fish, including Noto bluefin tuna.
