Located in the center of the Kanto Plain, Goka Town in Sarushima District is within 50km of Tokyo. Chiba Prefecture is located across the Edogawa River, and Saitama Prefecture is located across the Nakagawa River. The town is also rich in rivers, with the Tone River being its main water source. Roses, plum blossoms, and skylarks are symbols of the town. The town is also home to the Kewpie Goka Factory. This factory is a nationally renowned mayonnaise manufacturer, and you can see the actual manufacturing process. Other historical buildings scattered around the town include Tosho-ji Temple and Anayakushi Kofun. Anayakushi Kofun, in particular, is unique in its slightly different shape from ordinary kofun.
