Water sports such as triathlons and rowing races are popular in the city, and there are numerous sports facilities, including Maekawa Sports Park, Itako Motor Sports Park, and Kasumi-no-Sato Sports Park. At Suigo Itako Ayame Garden, numerous varieties of irises bloom, and an annual Iris Festival is held. Other tourist attractions include Shiratori no Sato and Suigo Tombo Park.
