Fukusaki Town in Kanzaki County is known as a transportation hub for the surrounding area, with the Chugoku Expressway and JR Bantan Line Fukusaki Station located there. The town is also famous as the birthplace of Kunio Yanagita, a prominent folklorist and author. Pharmaceutical and printing company factories are located within the town, and many people work there. One of the town's famous sites is Nanakusa Falls, a collective name for 48 waterfalls that have been selected as one of Hyogo Prefecture's Eight Views. Other famous sites in the town include the Fukusaki Town Kanzaki County History and Folklore Museum, Yanagita Kunio's birthplace, and Suzunomori Shrine, mentioned at the beginning of this article.
