Taiki Town, Hiroo District, is located south of Hokkaido's Tokachi General Subprefectural Bureau. The town's Rekifune River is known for producing diamond dust in the winter. The town's climate is also cold, with temperatures often dropping below -20°C in January. During these bitterly cold months, temperatures can fluctuate dramatically, even over short periods of time. Taiki Town, Hiroo District, is home to numerous tourist attractions that make the most of nature, including the Kamuikotan Park Campground and the Bansei Primeval Flower Garden. The area also hosts festivals such as the Rekifune River Seiryu Carp Streamers and the Rekifune River Seiryu Festival.
