There are six routes to Nakatonbetsu Cave, each with its own unique charm. Visitors can observe rare flora and fauna, including squirrels, rock ptarmigan, Ezo deer, salamanders, swallowtail butterflies, and long-tailed swallowtail butterflies. Other activities include gold panning on the Bechan River, hiking Mt. Tonochi and Mt. Chikoma, and mushroom hunting.
