Bibai City is located between Asahikawa City and Sapporo City in the center of Hokkaido. Celebrating its 50th anniversary since its establishment as a city, the city continues to develop. Local specialties include yakitori and green asparagus. Another popular tourist spot is Bibai City Tomei Park. In spring, the park is filled with around 2,000 cherry trees of various varieties, each blooming in profusion. During this cherry blossom season, the park is bustling with people enjoying the night cherry blossoms. Aside from the cherry blossoms, the azaleas are also said to be beautiful. You can enjoy a panoramic view of various flowers depending on the season. The city is also home to the longest straight road in the country: National Route 12, which is 29.2 km long.
