Tsumagoi Village, Agatsuma District, is located on the western edge of Gunma Prefecture, in a highland area surrounded by mountains such as Mt. Asama, Mt. Azuma, and Mt. Moto-Shirane. As a result, the village is home to many hot springs, including Manza Onsen and Shikazawa Onsen, as well as leisure facilities such as golf courses, villas, ski resorts, and campgrounds. The village's main industries are agriculture and the service industry. In agriculture, cabbage is a key crop, and highland vegetables are cultivated in cool climates. The village is also working to reduce the use of pesticides and chemical fertilizers. The service industry is centered around tourism for the hot springs and leisure facilities. Major tourist attractions include the Mt. Asama lava tree molds, a special natural monument; the Renge Azalea colony, also a natural monument; and a group of hot springs, including Manza Onsen and Shikazawa Onsen.
