About Ogaki City
Ogaki City, Gifu Prefecture, is located in the northwestern part of the Nobi Plain. Located almost in the center of the Japanese archipelago, it borders Gifu City, Hashima City, Mizuho City, and Anpachi Town, Anpachi District. It has numerous rivers and abundant groundwater, earning it the nickname "City of Water." Tourist attractions include the nostalgic Musubi no Chi Memorial Museum of the Oku-no-Hosomichi, Ogaki Castle with its rare four-story castle tower, Nagamatsu Castle, and Enkoji Temple, selected as one of the 33 best places for autumn foliage in Hida and Mino.
