Ibigawa Town, Ibi District, located in northwestern Gifu Prefecture, is a region with the Ibi River flowing through its center. While the city center receives around 30 cm of snow, the mountainous areas are a heavy snowfall zone, with years seeing over 50 cm of snow. On the flip side, summers are hot, with temperatures sometimes reaching 35°C or higher. Tourist attractions include Ibi Gorge in the Kuze district, Mt. Ibuki in the Kasuga district, and Sazareishi Park. Sports facilities include the Kunimidake Ski Resort, where tourists and locals enjoy skiing and other activities from the end of the year through early March. Famous sites in the town include Yasharyu Shrine, which is believed to be beneficial for rainmaking, Hananagakami Shrine, Ibi Castle, and Ibi Jinya. Blessed with nature, the town also offers many recreational spots, including campgrounds and fishing.
