Wanouchi Town, Anpachi District, is located in western Gifu Prefecture. Neighboring municipalities include Ogaki City, Hashima City, and Umezu City. Formed in 1954 by the merger of Fukutsuka Village, Oyabu Town, and Nishi Village, the town is blessed with abundant water resources, including the Ibi River, Nagara River, and Makita River. Tourist attractions in Wanouchi Town, Anpachi District, include the remains of the Oyabuarai Weir, the graves of the Shingon-in Bosatsu Gishi, and the graves of the Kooji Satsuma Gishi.
