Hirata Village in Ishikawa County is made up of seven neighboring municipalities, including Iwaki City, Koriyama City, and Tamagawa Village. The village's tree is the red pine, and its flower is the dandelion. The village also has a designated symbol: the turtledove. Located in the Abukuma Highlands, the village is surrounded by numerous mountain ranges. Farmland is also present. The area is also home to a roadside station called Hirata, making it a popular tourist spot. There are also many historical buildings and sites, including the Yomota Tateishi and Nakakura Roku Jizo. Hirata Village in Ishikawa County is also deeply fond of lamb, so much so that yakiniku (grilled meat) is commonly associated with it.
