Yukuhashi City, located in northeastern Fukuoka Prefecture, is surrounded by calm seas and gentle mountains on all sides, making it a naturally blessed city with a warm climate. It also serves as a commuter town for Kitakyushu City, and its population is on the rise. The Imagawa Riverbank in the city center has been developed as a promenade, and in spring, the cherry blossoms bloom, attracting many visitors to enjoy them. The city enjoys a generally warm Seto Inland Sea climate, with relatively little precipitation compared to the Kyushu region and often blessed with sunny weather. As for tourist attractions, the Goshogatani Shinryu Stone is designated as a national historic site, and the walls of a mountain castle built around the 7th century are still well preserved. Fruit production, including pears, peaches, and figs, is thriving in the area.
